The traffic volunteer

The traffic volunteer

Exposure is like good wines: give it some time and it will improve.

Taipei’s number one problem is its car and motorbike traffic. It is dense and used to be a little bit wild. That’s why you’ll often see those people, men and women as well, managing the traffic at some key intersections in the city. They don’t belong to the police, or to any municipal service. They are just volunteers giving some of their time to help the community. I understood that many are taxi drivers or former drivers.
